Business Director - RISE Experience will be responsible for all operations including program management, process establishment, vendor management, finance and budgeting, event planning and other duties as required.
Role and Responsibilities
Lead RISE Corporate Innovation Summit from ideation to execution
Strategize and craft Corporate Innovation Summit to become the best experiential conference in SEA
Oversee all team activities to ensure adherence to budget, process, and our mission
Establish and manage business processes that enable our team to grow exponentially
Day-to-day collaboration with team members to align with organizational priorities as well as identify opportunities and resolve concerns in the management of ongoing programs.
Pre-Program Activities: Planning the programming, scheduling and confirming venues/events, on-boarding companies into the program, creation of marketing materials, management of digital platforms
Manage relationships with thought leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and other speakers that participate in experiential programming; build new relationships to grow RISE network and roster of speakers
Maintain a quality knowledge of international technology ecosystems with an eagerness to continue learning about the global technology landscape
As a growth-stage, startup-mindset company, duties are performed independently and involve planning, initiative, and follow through.
5 - 7 years of relevant operations and/or event planning experience required
Service-oriented and team player, positive “can-do” attitude
Super attention to details
Experience managing and inspiring team members
Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
An interest in innovation, tech, startup
